Africa Matters is a group of friends of Africa in Ghent (united in the non profit organisation Promofil), which wants to counter the persistent negative image about Africa.
The association is active since 2001 and has started several activities since then. Every year, they organize AFRICA MATTERS HAPPENING in Ghent

Koester Kunst
is an exhibition organized by the association "Koester Kunst". This exhibition gives amateur artists a chance to show their works for free to the public. The revenues of the bar are given to the project ‘Koester’ of the child cancer fund of UZ Ghent.

Vlaams Partnerschap Water voor Ontwikkeling
("Flemish Partnership ‘Water for Development")
